A trial of the corona sniffing vaccine has begun in Britain. The trial was initiated by Oxford University and Imperial College London. The trial researchers say 30 people will be vaccinated with nebulizers and mouthpieces. This will reach the lungs directly and a good immune system can be seen.

Chris Chiu of the Infectious Diseases Department at Imperial College says the nasal spray vaccine (given through the nose) has been effective in the flu case. This was also proven because, there was a decrease in the number of infection cases.
We are experimenting with a similar vaccine in the case of Corona. It is safe to give the nasal spray vaccine through the nose (respiratory tract).
Sarah Gilbert, a vaccine specialist at Oxford University, says the vaccine has been shown to be safe by injection, and the immune response has been good. The vaccine will now be given by trachea.
The Imperial vaccine is in the early stages
The Imperial College vaccine is currently in the early stages of clinical trials. His trial will involve 30 people. Researchers at Imperial College say that even low doses of nasal vaccine protect against the virus.
The Serum Institute will begin a third phase trial on 1,500 patients
Professor Balaram Bhargava, DG, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), said that 3 vaccines are in the phase of clinical trials in the country. Phase-1 trial of Cadila and Bharat Biotech has been completed. The Serum Institute has completed Phase-2. Once the Phase-3 trial is approved, the trial will begin on 1500 patients.
Corona situation in the country
The Union Health Ministry released its figures on Tuesday morning. Accordingly, 83 thousand 808 cases were reported on Monday. As well, 1054 people died. With this, the number of infected people in the country has increased to 49 lakh 30 thousand 237, including 9 lakh 90 thousand 61 active cases. 38 lakh 59 thousand 400 patients have recovered. At the same time, 80 thousand 776 patients have died so far.
On Monday, samples of 10 lakh 72 thousand 845 corona were tested in the country, the Indian Council of Medical Research said. Thus 5 crore 83 lakh 12 thousand 273 tests have been done.
